Playground upgrade takes step forward

The scheduled fundraisers seek to replace the play structure on the third- and fourth-grade playground area at West Elementary School that were recently removed.

Plans to update and enhance the outdoor play area at West Elementary School took another step forward last week as officials with the Mountain Home School District approved a plan to help fund this playground project.

Recent approval of the school district’s Modernization Facilities Fund plan provided the money needed to purchase new playground equipment for the school’s third- and fourth-grade playground.
