Political sign vandalism cases remain under investigation

Local law enforcement reported a possible incident last week in which someone in the Mountain Home area may have tried vandalizing signs regarding a state initiative included in the upcoming elections next month.

City police received a call from a member of the Elmore Republican committee who reported two signs asking voters to reject Proposition 1, the Ranked Choice Voting initiative, got removed from the bridge railing at the canal near the Elmore County Sheriff’s Department.
