Details surface regarding suspect’s arrest

Pedro Dominguez Guajardo ended up in court last year on felony drug charges.

A Mountain Home man arrested following a standoff with deputies from the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office and the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office’s SWAT team had a criminal record leading up to his arrest Sept. 10.

Pedro Dominguez Guajardo, 76, remains in custody at the Elmore County Jail on a $1 million bond following his arrest at a residence off South Main Street in Mountain Home.
