Base hosts retiree appreciation day

Military retirees in the local community gathered at Mountain Home Air Force Base on Friday morning to gather updated information regarding various benefits these veterans continue to receive during the base’s annual military retiree appreciation day event.

Held at the Silver Sage Events Center, the event featured briefings from various base and local agencies that included discussions on topics that covered various veterans benefits such as casualty assistance along with details regarding various programs some base agencies offer to its airmen as well as military retirees in the local area.
