Former resident sentenced to federal prison

A former Mountain Home resident was sentenced to six years in federal prison on charges of illicit sexual conduct with a minor.

Calvin R. Chase, 29, currently of Sugar Grove, Penn., admitted that he engaged in sexually explicit online communications with someone he knew to be a minor, U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit said in a press statement released earlier this month.
