June Ann Reyes
June Ann Reyes passed away on August 30th,2024, in her home surrounded by her family, she went to the heavens to sing with the angels and to unite with her husband Armando C. Reyes (Ray), who passed away July 25th 2013. June was loved by many and had a wonderful life. June was born to Harry and Joan Mills in London England on June 16th1934, and as a child she experienced the tragedy of World War II during the bombing raids of London. June graduated high school at the young age of 14 where she became a nanny for 2 children. June went on and pursued her love for music where she was classical trained and performed at night clubs.
June met Ray where they fell in love and were married August 31st, 1960 and had 3 children, Jeffrey, Andrew, and Christina. June’s first trip to the United States was in 1966 when they were stationed in California. After a few years, in California, June and Ray were transferred back to England. Finally, the last move was set which brought them to Mtn.Home AFB, where they finally settled down in 1973.
In 1977, June started working at Mtn. Home AFB Commissary as a merchandiser and retired in 1995. June was an avid bowler and joined several different leagues where she traveled to numerous tournaments throughout the state. June’s passion was baking where she always wanted to become a pastry chef. While she didn’t fulfill her dream, her kids were able to enjoy the fruits of her passion, she ensured there were always treats on the counter when they came home from school.
June endured the passing of her first Child, Jeffrey who passed away on July 30th, 2017. Jeffrey had 1 child Shawna and when he married Joanne she had one child Jessica. Shawna blessed June with 2 great-grandchildren. Antonio and Willow. Along with one great-great granddaughter.
Andrew is married to Donna and Andrew has 3 Children, Arisha, Christopher, Andrea.
Arisha has 2 children Taryn and Sydnie.
Christopher married Taylor and gave June 3 great-granddaughters, Abbie, Braylea and Rylee.
Andrea was blessed to give June a great-grandson Colt.
Christina married Rick Adams and was blessed to give June another grandson Alex.
June was blessed in total with 3 children, 5 Grandchildren, 8 great children, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. If you take anything away from June know she was caring in all aspects of her life, the loving/perfect wife, mum, grandmother, and most of all friend.
June was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Harry Mills. June is survived by her sister-in-law Nichole Mills.
A viewing will be held on Sept 5th, 2024, at Rost Funeral Home, 500 N 18th East, Mountain Home, Idaho 83647. There will be a private graveside service for family only.
We want to give a special thanks to the staff at Ashley Manor, House #2 for the care and comfort of our Mum during her stay there. We are also very grateful for the quick and compassionate care, our mum received from Auburn Crest Hospice.
