City council approves $84.8 million fiscal budget

A $17.5 million increase to the city’s fiscal year budget and revisions to the city golf pro’s contract highlighted topics addressed by the Mountain Home City Council during a public meeting Aug. 27.

The approved $84.8 million budget scheduled to begin Oct. 1 showed a $9.5 million jump in the city’s enterprise funds compared to the current fiscal year budget along with a $2.5 million raise in its operations funding used to support various city departments.
