Organizers highlight parade safety steps

With this year’s Air Force Appreciation Day parade on Saturday, officials leading this event outlined some safety tips to keep parade goers safe.

Each float in a parade must have safety as its top priority, “due to some instances in the past involving children and floats during the parade,” said A.J. Lewis, who serves as this year’s parade coordinator.
