Children and teenagers from Mountain Home and local communities gathered at Tiger Field next to Mountain Home Junior High School to test their athletic abilities and physical endurance during the community’s first kids triathlon.
Hosted by the local Lions Club organization, 47 children took part in the Aug. 17 event, which required each of them to run along the track surrounding the football field before they took off on their bicycles to start the next stage of the triathlon.
