Students in the Mountain Home School District and other districts across the state showed noted gains in their proficiency in mathematics, science and English language arts, according to data released last week by the Idaho Department of Education.
Scores from the 2024 Idaho Standards Achievement Test, or ISATs, showed students in Idaho schools made near-uniform gains with overall proficiency rates in these academic subjects exceeding the previous year’s results in these assessed areas as well as science comprehension.
