Lions Club hosts city’s first kids triathlon

Dozens of children across the Mountain Home area plan to raise a sense of competitive spirit as the local Lions Club organization hosts the community’s first kids triathlon event on Saturday.

Scheduled to begin at Tiger Field next to Mountain Home Junior High School, the event requires children and teens to run along the track before taking to their bicycles to start the next stage of the triathlon that leads them to a water obstacle course.
