Families gather at Natl. Night Out

Families gathered at Carl Miller Park last week to take part in a yearly event that seeks to develop stronger ties between families in the local community and those who serve to protect these citizens.

National Night Out brings together members of the Mountain Home Police Department, the Elmore County Sheriff’s Department and Idaho State Police as they present different activities and displays to help promote strong police-community partnerships, said city police chief Jon Thompson.
