Members of the Mountain Home community paused last week to honor the memory of one of the state’s oldest residents, who passed away Aug. 4.
Elaine McCalley, who celebrated her 106th birthday June 5, lived in Mountain Home for more than 70 years and became the state’s first woman to earn a commercial pilot rating.
