County fair, rodeo begins

Rodeo action begins today, July 17, as the Elmore County Fair features events for adult as well as youth competitors.

People from across Elmore County will enjoy a week of “catching the fair bug” during the county’s annual fair and rodeo, which begins today, July 17, at the fairgrounds in Glenns Ferry.

Featuring free admission to parents and their children, the fair and rodeo continues through Saturday evening with a livestock auction and live entertainment planned each day along with open rodeo competitions starting at 8 p.m.
