Team restores symbol of school’s history

Tracing its history over the past 108 years, the school bell on display at Mountain Home High School originally rang at the former Central School building until 1942.

A symbol of the Mountain Home School District’s history recently returned to life last month following the completion of a restoration project.

The project sought to create a new display space for a school bell dating back to 1916 that remained on display for nearly 50 years next to Mountain Home High School.
