Wednesday, July 10, 2024
The crime rate in Mountain Home and Elmore County fell by nearly 25 percent in 2023 although the number of people arrested in connection with reported crimes actually climbed during that 12-month period, according to a yearly report from the Idaho State Police.
Released in late June, the report includes a synopsis of crime statistics gathered from 104 law enforcement agencies across the state and includes data from the Mountain Home Police Department and Elmore County Sheriff's Department.
