Range fires scorch 50 acres of land west of town

A pair of range fires scorched approximately 50 acres of range land west of Mountain Home on Friday afternoon with one of the fires causing minor damage to people’s property.

The first fire was reported around 5 p.m. that day in the vicinity of Bypass Road off Sunset Strip with the other reported around the same time off Dutton Road.
