Bruneau Dunes State Park receives Dark Sky Certification

Bruneau Dunes State Park and the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation are excited to announce that Bruneau Dunes is officially a designated dark sky park!

Bruneau Dunes State Park was certified as an International Dark Sky Park by DarkSky International earlier this year. This is an important achievement as Bruneau Dunes possesses almost pristine nighttime skies. Due to its incredible stargazing opportunities the park is home to two of the most powerful public telescopes in the state of Idaho.
