Suspect turns himself in

On Monday, June 3, 2024, The Mountain Home Police Department was notified by the Santa Monica Police Department that Brian McGehee had turned himself in to their agency on an Elmore County Warrant of 1st Degree Murder. Investigators from the Mountain Home Police Department were sent to Santa Monica for follow up investigation. The Elmore County Prosecutor’s Office will be working on extraditing McGehee back to Idaho at a later date
