An all clear has been issued. Buildings will remain close for the remainder of the day

UPDATE: 3:20pm

The courthouse received a bomb threat that is now under investigation. The K9 unit has been dispatched according to eyewitnesses. At this time all downtown offices are closed until further notice, including assessors office and DMV will be closed for the rest of the day.

At approximately 2:30pm, June 3rd, the Elmore County Court house began to have individuals evacuate the premises due to an undisclosed incident. At this time, the courthouse is closed until further notice, plan accordingly. Update to follow as released.
