Students of all ages tour Mountain Home Historical Society

On May 27th, students from East Elementary School celebrated the last full week of the school year by touring the Mountain Home Historical Museum.

The 84 students representing three fourth-grade classrooms took time to complete a series of activities that included a scavenger hunt to track down the location of certain items inside the museum as well as a pioneer wagon activity in which students had to decide which of the 36 items available to load into the wagon were the most important for pioneers to take with them as they traveled across the Oregon Trail through what is now Idaho.
