Final awards made for securing future grants

April 22, 2024 - Phase two of the State Board of Education’s Securing our Future (SOF) grant program is now complete with the awarding $ 6.1 million to 73 Idaho public schools.

Governor Brad Little recommended $20 million in grants for the SOF Initiative as part of his Idaho First budget plan approved by the Idaho Legislature in 2023.

Unlike the first phase of the SOF grant program completed last summer, phase two awards were based on a competitive process that included demonstrated need, project design, and impact on students.
