Brazell honored as Person of the Year at Black History Banquet

Shaun Brazell was honored as the Person of the Year at the 36th annual Mountain Home Community Black History Banquet, held Feb. 16 at the Mountain Home Elk’s Lodge.

Brazell is the Executive Director of the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce and also serves as the Senior Pastor for the Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church and as the Chaplain for American Legion Post 26.

A former member of the city council, he ran for mayor in last fall’s elections.

The Mountain Home Community Black History Committee serves to highlight and promote contributions of Mountain Home’s black community.
