Why do you love MHN?

Tom & I have been getting the Mountain Home News for many years.

Each Wednesday I look forward to reading about what is happening in our community & surrounding communities.

(When our kids were in school we liked keeping articles & pictures about their activities & successes.) Still enjoy reading student challenges, wins & successes & what’s next.

The daily help & encouragement that our teachers, coaches, & many others give to our children & teens through classes & activities should be noted and our newspaper is where we can learn about what they do. And how we can thank them.

It is great to have our police officers, Firefighters, & many volunteers who service our community recognized in the paper.

State, local or political news that is important to our community is included.

If you want to know what happened at the Commissioners, City Council or Planning & Zoning meetings -read the paper. New business openings are always included.

Of course you can also see who got married &/or divorced. Special Air Force honoree & information. I do read the entire paper which includes much more … obituaries & etc

The weekly community calendar is a nice addition.
