Grand View man arrested on drug charges
Feb. 12, 2024 - Owyhee County Sheriff's Deputies served a search warrant at 420 Riverside Avenue in Grand View, after an in-depth narcotics investigation. Deputies located and seized approximately 100 grams of fentanyl which was tested and returned presumptive postive for fentanyl, 25 grams of methamphetamine which was tested and retuned presumptive positive for methamphetamine, as well as counterfeit currency.
Owyhee County Deputies were able to locate Luis Rodriguez and he was arrested Saturday morning in Mountain Home and is awaiting extradition to Owyhee County. Luis Rodriguez has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, trafficking controlled substances, possession of counterfeit currency, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
