You don’t have the budget for a ski retreat or a sunny beach getaway this Presidents’ Day weekend? And your shopping muscle still hurts from Christmas — not to mention your wallet? There is another way to celebrate this federal holiday Monday, one that truly honors the day and doesn’t cost much: a president-themed movie-fest. Here are a few that offer a little glimpse into what it might be like to be America’s head of state.

Air Force One (1997) is an action thriller with Harrison Ford as a fictional American president overcome by terrorists while flying home from Russia on Air Force One. The President is no slouch; he holds his own and does what it takes to protect his nation and his family, also aboard.
