IHC seeks public nominations for new ‘Outstanding Humanities Educator’ award

Feb. 7, 2024 - The Idaho Humanities Council (IHC) seeks nominations from the public for a new award honoring the important work of K-12 humanities educators across the state. Administrators, colleagues, parents, and former students are invited to nominate an outstanding teacher in their community by February 29th, 2024.

This award will be given to three teachers in April of 2024: one in K-5th, one in 6-8th, and one in 9-12th grades. Each teacher will be awarded a cash prize of $1,500 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to humanities education in Idaho.
