Incident Report

UPDATE: Update: As of 11:00 this morning, the roads have been reopened and the scene has been cleared. Law enforcement can neither confirm nor deny any information concerning today's incident. the Mountain Home Police Dept was in charge of the incident, and the Elmore County Sheriff Office is in charge of the investigation.
MHAFB and Boise both brought in bomb detecting dogs and cleared the building in a short span of time. City Hall made the decision to close all city buildings until the law enforcement cleared the scene..
This morning a note was placed on the front door of the Elmore County courthouse, alluding to a potential bomb on the premise. It is not clear at the time where the bomb could be located, leading to a soft lockdown of Hacker Middle School, and City Hall. County buildings in the area where evacuated.
At this time, County and City officers are gathered with Court Marshalls in front of Ace Hardware, while they wait for a bomb dog to arrive on the scene from the base.
No officers were able to give any more insights at this time. More updates to follow.
