2023 Officer Of The Year - Officer Donald Allen

We are proud to announce that Officer Don Allen has been selected as Mountain Home Police Department’s 2023 Officer of the Year. While there were several qualified officers nominated by the staff, Officer Allen stood out due to his enthusiasm and the dedication with which he approaches his day-to-day job. Officer Allen is currently assigned as the School Resource Officer, having daily contact with the students and staff at the schools within the city boundaries. As the sole SRO within the department, Officer Allen is doing the work that previously kept two officers busy, yet always has a positive attitude. He has dealt with a multitude of issues, both criminal and non-criminal, within the context of his work.
