2023 Winter holiday season drive sober or get pulled over enforcement campaign

Elmore County Sheriff’s Office is joining the Idaho Office of Highway Safety (OHS) and more than 50 law enforcement agencies across Idaho to urge drivers to think twice before drinking and driving. Now through New Year’s Day, drivers will see officers working on a special high-visibility enforcement campaign to spread the message about the dangers of impaired driving.

Law enforcement will be on heightened watch for drivers under the influence and remind everyone, “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.” Always make a plan before heading out to a holiday celebration and have a sober ride home.
