MHHS Agriculture Program Receives Leading Idaho Grant

Mountain Home High School received the Leading Idaho Grant of $86,915.74 for its agriculture welding program. MHHS Agriculture Teacher, Kya Vines applied for the FY 2023 Career and Technical Education Leading Idaho 2.0 grant. The submission was reviewed by two different program quality managers. They discussed the expansion plan, and allowable use, and then decided on winners. This grant supplied the MHHS Agriculture Welding shop with ten brand new Miller Multimatic 255 welders, a Scotchman Ironworker, a sixty-inch by thirty-six-inch weld table, and a tungsten grinder.
