Idaho State Museum and Idaho Chinese Organization Launch Youth Art Competition

Idaho, December 13, 2023 - The Idaho State Museum, a division of the Idaho State Historical Society, with the Idaho Chinese Organization, are inviting young artists ages 5 to 18 to submit artwork to be considered for a pop-up art show as part of the museum’s 2024 Lunar New Year Community Day.

Young artists can share pieces that express their vision and inspiration for the “Year of the Dragon.” Artwork can be made with any drawing materials, including but not limited to watercolor, ink, oil, digital art, and color pencils. All submissions must be original, on paper, and sized at 12” x 12” for framing by the museum.
