Allen W. Larrabee

Allen W. Larrabee of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away in his home on November 19, 2023. He was born July 24, 1936, in Coldwater, Michigan to Samuel and Winifred Larrabee.

Allen graduated high school in Gaylord, Michigan, class of 1954. He then decided to join the Marine Corps, where he served for 30 years before retiring October 31, 1984. Allen was a proud Marine. He served in many locations, including Washington, California, South Korea, Vietnam, Hawaii, Mediterranean 6th Fleet, Virginia, and Japan. On August 18, 1977, he married Patricia, the woman he wanted to spend his life with. After retirement, they moved to Germany and finally settled in Idaho where they remained.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, RV-ing, and spending quality time with family and friends (especially his grandchildren).

Allen is survived by his loving wife, Patricia S. Larrabee; his daughters, Nicole (Ed) Blackburne and Michelle (Logan) Bunnis; his grandchildren, Sarah, Edward (Esme), Michael, Erin, William, Andrew, Zachariah, Jonah, Micah, and Ezra; and his great-grandchild, Kathleen. Allen is preceded by his brothers, Wayne and Loren; his mother, Winifred; and his father, Samuel.

Allen will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
