I order to follow up on the “gray” area roads, I was advised to go speak with the Sheriff. When I arrived at the Sheriff’s office there was an officer at the counter. I asked to speak with the Sheriff and was refused.

I explained the situation and he said “That’s city go talk to the city.”

I was told that the Sheriff’s department could patrol anywhere and he agreed that they could.

When asked why they did not patrol in Haskett/Sawmill Rd. his answer was again “that’s city, what do you want us to do?” I have always been under the impression (obviously false) that the city and county law enforcement worked together. Well Mayor?
