Alison Rae Sellman
Alison Rae Sellman, 50, passed away after a vicious battle against Mesothelioma on May 5. Alison was born in Mountain Home, Idaho on November 23, 1972, a very, very cold day. Her youth and school days were spent in Idaho. Most of her adult life was spent in the Pacific Northwest where she received her college degree and worked in IT. With her longtime partner, George Schellenberg, she enjoyed trees, flowers, birds, and especially the Pacific Ocean of Oregon and Washington.
She is survived by her parents, John and Sher Sellman, her sister Angela Morgan (Pete) and brother Jake Sellman. She was adored by her niece, Dorothea Morgan, her nephews Macarius and Theodoros Morgan, Dane Durham, and James Avery and Harrison Sellman. Her aunts and uncles Chet and Cathy Sellman, Bonnie and Bill Gilbert, Carolyn and John Lloyd and Pat and Jim Lunstrum and their children filled Ali-Oop’s life with joy. Cousins Susie Lloyd Quesnel, Libby Lunstrum, Carla Barber, and Crista Jones, with sister Angela and brother Jake, bolstered Alison up with courage and grape soda during this difficult passage. Her pets, Scout and Hazel, will now reside in Idaho. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and two aunts.
Alison requests no funeral service. Donations can be sent to the City of Mountain Home, P O Box 10, 83661 to buy evergreen trees for planting in the parks and golf course.
