Daniel L. Griffin

Daniel L. Griffin passed away November 24, 2022, at the age of 70 in Mountain Home Idaho. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral home in Mountain Home.

Dan was born in Moorhead MN on January 29, 1952, to Robert and Margaret Griffin. Dan graduated from Dilworth High School in 1971. He joined the Navy after graduation and retired in 1996.

Following his retirement, Dan had numerous odd jobs in Southern California prior to moving to Idaho in 2015. He enjoyed playing cards and socializing with family and friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Carl Stoll, and his beloved older brother Michael K Griffin.

Dan is survived by his siblings Jo (Phil) Gridley, Roger (Judy Thomas) Griffin, Cathy (Rick) Cariveau, Susan (Steve Hicks) Griffin, Betty (Tom) Harrison, Roberta Griffin; sister-in-law Shirley; step siblings Peggy (Randy) Alfred, Penny (Steve) Seglem, Steve (Alice) Stoll, Terry (Debbie) Stoll, Robin (Marv) Zebell, Bradley (Carol) Stoll and numerous nieces and nephews. Dan is also survived by an ex-wife and her two daughters Dev and Toti and step grandchildren Zach, Nicole, Cristina, Pearl, Kaylenn, Chloe, Josh, and several step great grandchildren.

Family was very important to Dan, and he was known for his bear hugs and kisses on the forehead. He was a loving and supportive brother, uncle, and grandpa.

A graveside Inurnment will take place at 3 PM on May 26, 2023, at Riverside Cemetery in Glyndon, MN
