Mayor joins Walking Challenge

Mayor Rich Sykes is among the 98 Idaho mayors participating in the Mayor’s Walking Challenge, a program of the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health.

The Mayor’s Walking Challenge allows mayors to earn funds for their city by walking at least 5,000 steps per day in October, with a $1,000 award for the mayors who take 10,000 steps per day.

This is the ninth year of the event that has given back more than $450,000 since its inception in 2014
