The State of Idaho is proud to announce that Assessment Centers are coming to Idaho! These valuable resources will make it easier and faster to connect youth who need help with community based-resources.

Assessment Centers are designed to provide their communities with a single point of contact to divert youth from the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. Centers utilize validated screening and assessment tools to understand the barriers youth and families are experiencing in the communities. Following screening and assessment, centers will partner with youth and their families to provide warm hand-offs to community providers for accessing resources and to provide case management services to ensure continuity of care.
