Mountain Home’s Planning and Zoning commission met on Tuesday night in regular session. They moved swiftly into a public hearing regarding the proposed Colthorp Commons. The hearing was intended only to discuss the rezoning of the area from R-4 to R-4 PUD. For background, the Colthorp Commons is a proposed development that would provide 64 attached single-family townhouses, as well as tenant parking, and open space amenities.

Those speaking against the rezoning listed concerns such as road width/conditions, traffic flow/density, and the new development not matching the current “aesthetic” of the surrounding area. (pick up this weeks edition for the full report)
