Tanager Street Fire

Shortly after noon last Tuesday (the 23rd), a fire started in the garage of a two-story wood frame home on Tanager street in north Mountain Home.

The homeowners were not at the residence when the fire began.

According to Mountain Home Fire Chief Moore, the fire was accidental and the result of an electrical malfunction within the garage. The fire was quickly contained once firefighters arrived on scene.
