FFA Competes in Livestock Event

Izaak Krohn getting 3rd place from Boise Valley District

The Mountain Home FFA Chapter took 13 members to the Treasure Valley Livestock Evaluation event at Canyon County Fair Grounds on May 2nd. Teams from all over Idaho were invited. These students judged steers, lambs, goats, and pigs. With the BVD highest individuals being Rosa Mendiola from Kuna taking 1st, Jadelyn Mecham from Kuna taking 2nd, and Izzak Krohn from our Mountain Home chapter taking 3rd. The Mountain Home chapter overall took 21st out of 54 teams. Overall, the chapter had a great experience and had lots of fun judging while learning new observation skills for future Opportunities.
