Wednesday, May 11, 2022

Due to Covid, the St. Lukes Elmore Long Term Care Unit had been unable to honor their Mother of the Year. This year they were able to have families attend the Mothers Day Luncheon, where Jeanette Montgomery was named Mother of the Year.

According to her daughter, Jeanette was born in Florida in 1937. She married in 1955, then she started making fishing rods for Ted Williams and the Red Sox Baseball team. Jeanette’s husband was in law enforcement and they moved to multiple southern states over the years.

Jeanette was a very creative, caring mother. She raised six children with grace and ease. She helps to bring a spark of sunshine wherever she goes.
