Lions Club resumes screenings

The Mountain Home Lions Club recently completed elementary school eyesight screenings, after having to cancel during the 2020-2021 school year because of the pandemic.

The schools that were screened were East, North, and West Elementaries in Mountain Home, Stephenson Elementary at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Richard McKenna Montessori Charter School in Mountain Home, Glenns Ferry Elementary, Bruneau Elementary, and Grandview Elementary.

Twenty-nine Lions Club members participated in doing the screenings, which totaled over 76 man hours devoted to the project.
