Gerald Dean Mann

Gerald Dean Mann, age 82, of Mountain Home, passed on August 15, 2021 at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Boise. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM, on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, Mtn Home, Idaho.

Gerald was born in Wayne, Nebraska to Ida and Arthur Mann on July 29, 1939. He attended Wayne State College for two years. He joined the US Air Force in 1959 serving in Vietnam. He retired as an MSgt in 1979. He worked at Boise Interagency Fire Center, and later he retired from Civil Service.

He enjoyed fishing at CJ Strike Reservoir and watching old westerns.

He is survived by his children, Mark Mann and Lynn Holmes, his sister Helen Litvak, sister-in-law Lorraine Mann and his niece and nephew, Robert and Joyce Mann. He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Mann and wife Marcia Mann, his brother Lowell Mann, and his nephew Alan Mann.
