Katherine M. Hilty

Katherine M. Hilty, 81, of Glenns Ferry passed away peacefully on August 18, 2021 in Gooding. Graveside service will be held on August 25, 2021 at 11am at Glenn Rest Cemetery in Glenns Ferry. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Katherine was born in Brooklyn, New York to William and Catherine Foster. She was the youngest of four children. She enjoyed being a housewife and volunteering with many community services. She enjoyed her crafts and distributing her numerous handmade angels throughout the surrounding communities.

Katherine is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Gerald. Her daughters, Catherine and husband Abbie Favor of Texas, Jennifer (Jen) Soennichsen of Minnesota, Chellie and husband Brent Matson of Montana, Theresa Lutgen and husband Brian Charon of Montana, Tammy and husband Tony Sixberry of Montana, 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Katherine is preceded in death by her father William H. Foster, mother Catherine (Plent) Foster, brothers William (Bill) Foster and Robert (Buddy) Foster, sister Margaret (Margie) Wilson and brother-in-law Jackie Wilson.

She will be greatly missed by her family and multiple friends.
