Press Release from Sheriff Mike Hollinshead
On November 14th, 2020, the Elmore County Sheriff’s office Patrol and Detective Division’s responded to the area of Flyby Ave for an individual who was found by citizens with a gunshot wound to the leg and crossbow arrows impaled into their body. The individual was taken by air ambulance to a Boise area hospital for their life threatening injuries.
Following a lengthy investigation, Elmore County Detectives secured a search warrant for an Elmore County residence. On January 5th, 2021 Richard Miskin was arrested and charged with 3 counts of felony aggravated battery, 1 count of felony false imprisonment, 1 count of Aggravated Assault, 1 count of Possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver, 1 count of misdemeanor possession of controlled substances and 1 count of misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
This is an ongoing investigation; the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office is grateful to the citizens of Elmore County for their support and cooperation during this investigation.
