Leo C. Spence

Leo C. Spence, passed away November 24, 2020 at home with his family by his side. He was 86 year old. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Leo was the son of James Joseph Spence and Alta LaVica Weger. H was born the youngest of 10 kids. He was born and raised in Mountain Home.

He has been married to Joanne B. Spence for 68 years. They have 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He helped raise a sister in-law and a nephew like his own.

Leo was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend and has numerous nieces and nephews.

He helped anyone in need. Always patient. Most important he had quite the sense of humor. Unusual and dry.

He belonged to The Assemble of God Church, now The Rock, ever since he was a young boy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings and 1 child.
