Patrol Division responds to shot fired

On Tuesday, August 4, 2020 Elmore County Special Response Team (SRT) was activated to assist the Elmore County Patrol Division with the apprehension of a subject that had struck a vehicle and then after a verbal altercation fired a handgun. After firing the handgun, the suspect went into his residence.

The suspect was taken into custody with no further incident. The victim was not injured by gunfire.

Suspect was arrested for DUI, open container, and aggravated assault.
