American Legion Riders make donation to VA Clinic

" During a recent visit to the Mt Home VA Out Patient Clinic, a Veteran asked the staff what they needed. The reply was we do not need anything, but it would be nice if there was a bench outside of the door for the Vets to wait for rides. That Vet is a member of Mountain Home American Legion Riders. He brought the idea forward to the members and in a short few weeks, a bench was purchased and installed. Now Vets have a place to wait for rides and even the staff has used it to enjoy the outdoors during breaks."

This organization has done so many great things for the community. Have you ever wondered who puts up the flags around the cemetery for services or aides the Legion in making things happen? Now you know.
