Sheriff updates message on procedures at the Driver's License Office

In order to help clarify any confusion I want to take a moment to explain to the citizens of Elmore County what we are doing at the Driver License Office.

We have only closed the doors in order to control the number of people that come in and are waiting for service in our waiting area.

We have gone to doing business by making appointments only for all services that we provide to the public for Elmore County citizens only but also doing what we can to protect you the public and our employees.

If you need to do business in the Elmore County Driver License Office, please call 208-587-1888 Ext. 3 to make your appointment. Employees are on duty during normal business hours to answer the phones. By going to appointments only please understand the amount of phone calls that will be coming in. If you do not get through either leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible or call back at a later time. Also please allow more time to conduct your business.

We all must do our part to make sure everyone is safe during this time. The Elmore County Sheriff Office and Elmore County is committed to support your needs but maintain safety.
